China's central bank on Wednesday said it will conduct a tender to issue 60 billion yuan (HK$63.95 billion) in bills in Hong Kong this Friday.
The tender includes 40 billion yuan for 3-month bills and 20 billion yuan for 1-year bills. The People’s Bank of China announced that it will settle on February 18.
Bills will be available for competitive tender on a coupon-bid basis through the Central Moneymarkets Unit, a debt securities platform operated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
